Pediatric cardiologists at Weill Cornell Medicine


Weill Cornell Medicine Pediatric Cardiology faculty are leading important research efforts that encompass many aspects of congenital heart disease in children. Topics that have been a major focus of our investigators, or which are currently under investigation, include the following: 

  • outcomes and adverse events of cardiac catheterization in children and young adults
  • risk adjustment for congenital cardiac catheterization
  • evaluation of transcatheter devices for congenital catheterization
  • echocardiographic simulation as a training tool
  • treatment of the arterial duct in premature infants
  • cardiac response to exercise in patients with congenital heart disease
  • long-term impact of cancer treatment on cardiac function
