Megan grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. As a teenager, I moved to Ohio, where I later attended University of Toledo College of Medicine. I will complete my pediatrics training at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am most proud of my efforts in improving patient safety, as well as my contributions to a published paper on DeVos’s experiences with multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, medical history podcasts, tabletop games, taking my dog on hikes, and exploring new restaurants with my friends.

Growing up a Jersey girl, Katie is no stranger to NYC. She’s a former SAG-AFTRA member, soloist at Radio City & Carnegie Hall, & alumnus of NYU Langone, where she worked as a QI Project Manager. Though NYC has given her a lot, she spent meaningful time in the city where “r” doesn’t exist, Boston. Here she obtained her master’s degree & first worked in QI. A regular rolling stone, Katie has also lived in the wild & wonderful WV during medical school & was a proud resident (in both senses) of the great state of Ohio! Her return to NYC is an exciting & full circle moment. A former trauma patient, Katie experienced humanism & excellence in medicine when her ankle was pieced back together by one of HSS’s own, after a car left it shattered. In her spare time, Katie plays her bedazzled ukuleles, crafts, & cuddles her kitties, Lieutenant Purr & the Child Like Emperor. (LP & CLE). Ask her about them, she will probably trip over herself trying to show you pictures.
