The Division of Neonatology at Weill Cornell Medicine provides a wide range of services tailored for the anticipation and management of critically ill newborns and their follow-up care. Affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital at Well Cornell Medical Center, one of the top-ranked pediatric hospitals in the United States, our neonatal-perinatal medicine specialists, comprehensive ancillary services, and collaborations with medical subspecialists provide state-of-the-art medical care for newborns.
Our 60-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is located in the NewYork-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns, with an in-unit operating room and MRI. Each year, more than 700 newborns receive comprehensive, high-quality care. In addition to the medical care we provide for newborns admitted to the NICU, we also provide services for high-risk fetal conditions requiring subspecialist care and post-discharge neurodevelopmental follow up for those that require additional attention after discharge.
