The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and the NewYork-Presbyterian Komansky Children's Hospital is an integral part of the Congenital Heart Center at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Our cardiology team is dedicated to the pre-natal and post-natal diagnosis, surgical, transcatheter, and clinical management and treatment of a wide range of cardiac conditions. Additionally, our extended team of pediatric cardiologists provide care for adult patients whose heart disease is either congenital in origin or acquired during childhood.
What Sets Us Apart
Our department is founded on clinical excellence, clinical innovation, and outstanding patient outcomes, frequently exceeding outcomes of even larger centers.
We're the first to introduce innovative treatment approaches such as transcatheter PDA closure in premature infants in Manhattan and are leading research efforts focusing on outcomes of pediatric and congenital cardiac catheterization.
We are part of the Congenital Heart Center at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital - the highest-ranked center within the New York metropolitan area providing cardiac services for pediatric and adult patients with congenital heart disease. Our cardiologists specialize in transcatheter interventions and non-invasive imaging, dedicating themselves to continuous quality improvement and transparent outcome reporting.
