The Department of Pediatrics, in partnership with the Weill Cornell Medicine Office of Diversity and Inclusion, seeks to advance health equity, workforce diversity and inclusion excellence.

Our mission is to cultivate a learning and work environment where:

•  Equity and inclusion excellence is prioritized for all members of the pediatric community and patients and families we serve.

•  Diversity is recognized as a means of facilitating culturally responsive and equitable across our department and community.

We strive to cultivate a team that has the knowledge of health impacts of institutional and societal forces, markets, and health care delivery systems necessary to comprehensively care for pediatric patients from a broad range of backgrounds, caregivers and the communities they come from.
