The Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases of Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) is seeking to recruit 1 full time physician at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our full-time faculty. Qualified candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Infectious Disease and have a strong interest in the immunocompromised host population. Candidates will be eligible for a faculty appointment with Weill Cornell Medicine commensurate with their academic rank, experience and accomplishments and education.
Interested candidates, MD or MD/PhD, will be responsible to initiate collaboration with the Immunocompromised Program at the nearby institution of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). The candidate will have several responsibilities which range between clinical, academic and research. Clinical responsibilities will consist in providing inpatient and outpatient consultations at MSKCC for the pediatric population alongside the adult infectious diseases team. Academic and Research responsibilities will consist in participating in the multiple opportunities of research, clinical, basic or translational, available at MSKCC and WCM in the pediatric population.
Our Pediatric Infectious Diseases Division is composed of 4 full time clinical faculty members, has an established Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and Infection Control/Epidemiology Program in collaboration with the Weill Cornell Medicine-NY Presbyterian Hospital. Our faculty has also a strong collaboration with the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory.
The Department of Pediatrics provides comprehensive care to children throughout the 5 boroughs via a State-of-the-Art Level IV NICU, level III PICU, General Pediatrics and multiple subspecialties at the New York Presbyterian/Phyllis and David Komansky Children’s Hospital and Weill Cornell Medicine and is involved with pediatric resident and medical student education.

Salary Range:
Assistant Professor Rank: $161,500-180,000
Associate Professor Rank: $200,000-229,000
*As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices
