Hadley Brighton, M.D.

Hadley grew up in Fairfield County, Connecticut and attended medical school at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, PA. She completed Residency at NYP Cornell and focused on family centered rounds for her research. She is interested in social determinants of health and plans to focus her research in that realm during Fellowship. Outside of medicine, Hadley loves to cook, travel and spend time with her family including her adorable son.

Senayit Demie, M.D.

Senayit hails from Atlanta, Georgia. She attended St. George’s University for medical school and completed her Pediatric Residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. Her biggest accomplishment to date has been starting a resident run asthma clinic in Savannah. Outside of medicine, her biggest accomplishment has been raising her adorable dog named Bobby. Senavit enjoys going on hikes, trying different foods, traveling, and hanging out with her dog.

Nicole Kelly, M.D.

Nicole was born and raised in Wantagh, NY on the south shore of Long Island. She studied global health in college at Georgetown before attending Columbia VP&S for medical school and staying at Columbia to complete her pediatric residency. Professionally, she is most proud of authoring and presenting a case on congenital syphilis at the national IDWeek conference in 2018, in addition to being an author on my first published research article in 2013 while working at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a summer intern. She has loved being a part of the CHONY family these last few years and is so happy to be staying for the next two. Outside life at CHONY, she loves watching true-crime documentaries, Formula 1 racing, hiking, and spending time with my husband and family.

Allison Pressimone, M.D.

Allison was born in Maryland, but moved around frequently, living primarily in Chesapeake Bay area. Currently her family lives throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Ohio.


After a 3-year postgraduate period, she went to medical school at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis, IN, before returning east to Baltimore, MD where she completed residency and Chief year at Sinai Hospital. She is proud of being part of the inaugural medical school class, as well as an inductee into GHHS and a recipient of the Leonard Tow Award for Humanism. She also enjoys work in DEI, particularly in how to approach discrimination experienced by medical providers and trainees. She delights in having survived a Chief year during the pandemic, and that none of the residents got COVID during her tenure.


Michelle’s biggest source of joy is her family—especially her 9 nieces and nephews. She really enjoys cycling, hiking, camping, and visiting local breweries and wineries. She loves doing puzzles like the NYT crossword (and Wordle!), reading fantasy books, and watching more Netflix than she should. She practices French and is also currently teaching herself Korean.
