Catalina was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, where she also completed Medical School. She pursued additional medical studies and graduate school in Spain and Netherlands. For the past three years, she has been completing residency training at the NYC Health and Hospitals/Woodhull Medical Center.
Catalina was very fortunate to be awarded the Colfuturo Scholarship in 2018 to complete her Master’s degree studies, and was also awarded the Abel Tasman grant by the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of Groningen, Netherlands. Lastly, during her time in medical school, she was selected to participate the international leadership program AUSJAL.
In her free time, Catalina enjoys traveling, cooking, and exercising.
Zenna grew up on Long Island. She attended medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, and has called the borough home for the better part of a decade. She completed her Pediatric Residency at NYP-Cornell, and is looking forward to staying here for Fellowship. When not working, Zenna enjoys hiking and baking. Her greatest recent accomplishment, outside of medicine, has been learning how to knit.
