In addition, we have received inquiries about how the community can help in this challenging time.  Weill Cornell has set up two funds for contributions which will be used to steer resources to our most immediate and pressing needs:

  • COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund: Help us purchase additional personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect the health and safety of Weill Conrell physicians and medical staff who are caring for COVID-19 patients, supportin the expansion of our testing capacity and strategies including clinical trials and purchasing medical equipment that can provide fast and accurate results, and offering telehealth services for non COVID-19 emergency patients.  
  • COVID-19 Fund to Support Frontline Staff Provide meal delivery and childcare services for our clinical staff working on the frontlines in the ICU, Emergency Department, testing labs and other units and practice sites.

In-Kind Donations

Weill Cornell Medicine accepts in-kind donations to support safe treatment of our patients and staff and clinicians, and welcomes:

  • N95 NIOSH masks
  • Surgical masks
  • Disposable gowns
  • Eye protection
  • Ventilators
  • Gloves

Ways to Give

NewYork-Presbyterian also has two funds dedicated to COVID-19 work for your consideration:

  • Patient Care Fund: Support for general patient care needs including the purchasing of ventilators and personal protective equipment such as masks, the hiring of additional clinical staff, capacity expansion, and clinical research.
  • Healthcare Workers Fund: Support the physical and emotional wellbeing of healthcare workers who are on the front lines of the COVID-19 outbreak.
