Rachel was born and raised in northern New Jersey in a small town called Ledgewood. She attended college at NYU, medical school at University of Pittsburgh, and residency at NYU. Outside of medicine, Rachel really enjoys cooking, baking, and cake decorating. She also enjoys playing soccer and her favorite thing to do is travel to new places and experience new cultures.
Priya is from West Windsor, New Jersey. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine (2017) and completed her pediatric residency training at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC (2020). She then served as the Pediatric Chief Resident at MSK Kids followed by a pediatric survivorship fellowship. Priya is interested in clinical oncology, survivorship, narrative medicine, and biomedical ethics. She also loves to read and update her Goodreads account, engage in TV/film criticism, and try new restaurants around NYC.
Jennifer is from East Brunswick, New Jersey. She completed her MD/PhD at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and residency at NYU. Outside of medicine, she is dangerous! Jennifer is a martial artist; a fifth-degree black belt! She is also an avid runner who has finished the NYC marathon twice! In her spare time, she likes to read/watch plenty of terrible sci-fi/fantasy.
Alex just ended her Chief Residency year, here at NYP-Weill Cornell. She grew up on Long Island, then attended undergraduate Harvard University and medical school at Weill Cornell, graduating in 2018. She completed her residency in pediatrics at NYP-Weill Cornell. Outside of medicine, Alex enjoys dancing (particularly ballet), cooking, and spending time with her son.
Han-Wei was born and raised in Bergen County (Mahwah, New Jersey). He completed medical school at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Academically, his major accomplishments include publishing research manuscripts and presenting at major Pediatric conferences, completing a triple degree program (MD/MBA/MPH), and being inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He was recognized by his colleagues as Resident of the Month twice last year, which was particularly meaningful in the setting of serving as a health care worker during the COVID pandemic. Prior to medicine, Han-Wei attended the Manhattan School of Music Precollege Division (piano major) and performed at Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. Outside of medicine, his interests include staying active (volleyball, swimming, soccer, working out), exploring new restaurants, appreciating music (attending concerts, playing violin/piano), and spending time with family and friends.
