Continuing Medical Education (CME) plays an important role in the Department of Pediatrics. Our physicians, APPs, nurses, social workers and other healthcare professionals must keep abreast of the latest developments in their respective fields. Our department is also committed to patient education, and offers conferences for families. We have two regularly scheduled department wide CME conferences each week, Grand Rounds and Professors’ Rounds, as well as divisional regularly scheduled CME conferences and annual events.
Accreditation
Weill Cornell Medical College is accredited by the Accreditations Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to authorize and issue CME credit for programs that are developed by the institution as part of its overall CME program. The Office of CME is available to answer questions and assist with aspects of both conference and course planning as well as the CME application procedure.
